 Robotic Assistance

Task:

Build and program five robots doing different tasks to help the people trapped inside a building after an earthquake.

Members Involved:

Sanat Mouli, Mike Xu, Cameron Brody, Anthony Silvino, Joshua Ong, Abraham Bazbaz

Types of Engineering Required in the task:

Biomedical Engineering:  the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes                  (e.g. diagnostic or therapeutic)

Computer science: the scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications

Our Tasks:

Vex Robot: Clear the obstacles(debris)

Lego Mindstorm Robot: Maneuver and lead unjured people out of the building

i Robot: Locate the injured people

Scribbler: Follow the i Robot and draw a line from the injured people to safety

Vex IQ: Follow the Scribbler's line and bring supplies to the injured people

Main Objective: 

Get all the survivors out of the room quickly and lead them to safety
